"Celebration" was inspired by a Bible verse. Ronald Bell (also known as Khalis Bayyan), one of the founding members, said the idea came from reading the Qur’an and the Bible, particularly the verse where God “created man and the angels celebrated.” This inspired him to write a universal anthem of joy and unity.
